About Us

Amn Tehrik (Peace Movement) was launched on April 24, 2009 after Political workers, civil society, writers, intellectuals, Lawyers, Students, Labours, Women, Poets and sensible segment of the society in Peshawar realized gravity of situations and surge in extremism and terrorism in region particularly in Peshawar, Khyber Pukhtunkhawa and almost in all seven agencies and six FRs of FATA. A consultation was held at Peshawar Press club in this regard and with consensus of all participants a plate form was formed namely Amn Tehrik(Peace Movement).
